Kyounghee Moon is a professor at the Department of International Relations at Changwon National University(CWNU). She received her PhD in Politics & International Relations from the Australian National University.

Her main areas of research are international migration and identity politics, gender politics, and memory politics. She has published two journal articles, among other works, “Koreans’ Erection of ‘the Statue of Peace’ and ‘Comfort Women’ Movement in Australia: Focusing on the Formation of ‘Cosmopolitan’ Memory and the Manifestation of Transnationalism”(2018), and “Flower Granny’s Representation of ‘Comfort’ Women and the Politics of Emotion”(2016).

She has currently participating in a research team working on ‘Investigation and exhibition of the ‘comfort’ women related records collected by a private sector in a regional level, particularly in the Gyeongsang-do region.
